Mary Evelyn Eckart Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday Mary Evelyn Eckart age 42 of Redwood Falls, formerly of Morgan and Windom, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Redwood Area Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment will be held at a later date in the Stanton Cemetery. Mary Evelyn Eckart was born December 16, 1965 in Redwood Falls to Ron & Mary Ann (Coughlin) Eckart. She was baptized in the Methodist Church. Mary lived at home until she was 11 years old. In 1977 she moved to Windom. Mary graduated from Windom High School in 1987. She resided in Windom for 27 years before moving to Redwood Falls in 2004 where she shared her home with her five very special housemates and many staff. Mary loved her job at Second Time Around Thrift Store, where she has many friends. Mary loved music, movies and spending time with her friends and staff. Her very special friend Stacy Grube, and many friends & family, will forever hold a special place in their hearts for Mary. She touched many people’s lives and will be forever missed. Mary is survived by her parents Ron and Mary Ann Eckart of Northfield; siblings: Glen (Karen) Eckart of Lompoc, CA, Stan Eckart of Bellevue, NE, and Lisa (John) Armour of Durham, NC; four nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her foster grandma Veronica.
