Ringeisen (pronounced Ring-eye-zen)
Michael “Mike” D. Ringeisen age 71 of Redwood Falls
passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital
in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
February 10 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services

The Redwood Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Michael “Mike” D. Ringeisen was born July 20, 1937
in St. James, Minnesota to Charles and Arlyne (Malmgren) Ringeisen.
He was baptized September 19, 1937 and confirmed in the Lutheran
faith. Mike graduated high school in Long Prairie, Minnesota. On
November 22, 1961, Mike was united in marriage to Gina Jordahl in
Minneapolis. Mike served in the National Guard and the US Army.
He was stationed in White Sands, Mexico for most of his enlistment,
and was discharged in 1961. He was active in sports, playing basketball
and softball. He was an umpire for City Rec softball leagues and
State softball tournaments. He also served as referee for basketball.
Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spent a lot of time golfing
since his retirement. Mike and Gina raised show dogs and traveled
all over the country showing them. Mike’s children and grandchildren
were very special to him. He was a charter member of Ducks Unlimited,
and a member of the American Legion. Mike was always happy and in
a good mood – he could always find a positive side in everything.
Mike is survived by his wife Gina; children: Mike (Bobby), Tim
(Beth), Wendy (Jeff) Nygaard, and Troy (Janeille); grandchildren:
Becca, Jessie, Brandy, Sienna, Zack, Hunter, Katie, Sage, and Hope;
siblings: Gayle (Gene) Wagner, Steve (Judy), and Lynn; and many
other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents;
and sister Lynais.
