Beverly J. Schuler

Beverly J. Schuler, age 78 of Redwood Falls passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Home Cemetery, Sleepy Eye, MN. The Redwood Valley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Beverly J. Schuler was born September 25, 1930 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota to George and Joyce (Reynolds) Offermann. While in high school she helped her dad doing bookwork in the lumberyard, which he owned. She also worked at the Brown county Farm Bureau and Extension Service in Sleepy Eye. Upon her graduation from Sleepy Eye High School, in 1948, she accepted a job at the City Clerk’s Office. On April 3, 1949 Beverly was united in marriage to Gerald “Bud” Schuler at the Zion Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. After two years they then moved to Mankato, Lanesboro, Chatfield, and then Morgan. The couple lived there for twelve years where Beverly worked at the Morgan Public School in the principal’s office. In 1965 they moved to Redwood Falls. Beverly worked in the City Clerk’s Office for two years before accepting a job in the Redwood County Court Office, which was later changed to the Court Administrator’s Office until her retirement twenty-three years later.

Beverly enjoyed working the in the outdoors and taking their dogs for walks through Ramsey Park in Redwood Falls. She also did a lot of ceramics, stained glass and different crafts.

Beverly is survived by her son Craig; and two granddaughters: Sydney and Samantha Schuler, all of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bud, daughter Sandra Revels, her parents George and Joyce Offermann and her in-laws Stanley and Meta Crouch. Bless her memory.
