Edward M. Senger, age 82 of Redwood Falls passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2008 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Edward M. Senger was born on May 14, 1926 to John and Francis (Wimmer) Senger in Clements, MN. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clements and attended country school near Clements. Edward was united in marriage to Calverna Carlson on April 23, 1945 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan. They lived and farmed in Redwood County their entire lives. Edward worked as a mechanic at Hillger Implement in Morgan and also drove truck while he was there.

Edward was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church; the church was very important to him. He enjoyed traveling in his younger years, fishing, gardening, his dogs, the outdoors and horseback riding in his later years. Edward loved his family above all.

Edward is survived by his children: Suzanne (Bill) Perez, Kay (Jim) Ruter, June (Jim) Bronson, Janean (Richard) Nordby, Randy Senger, Roger Senger, Michael (special friend Denise) Senger, Carleen (Curt) Rosenau, Andrea (Dan) Drexler, and Maureen (Roger) Onnen; 30 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; brother George Senger of St. Cloud, sisters: Othilia Soukup of St. Paul and Sister Marcienna of Nice, France; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sally, an infant son, and numerous brothers and sisters.
